Night Train Ride....
I took the Night Train (Wild Thing) out for a spin the other day. It was COLD so I was in Full Leathers with the head gear and helmet. Could just see my nose and the old red lens bug eye sunglasses.
I was at a light in the left hand turn lane listening to the 96" motor as it patiently waited for permission via an ever so slight twist of the throttle, when I looked to my right. There was a nice looking business type guy in a family sedan (i.e. Cage) right next to me. His eyes were doing to Wild Thing what I imagine he does to beautiful women when they walk by. I watched as he obviously looked the chrome and motor over in detail, and probably enjoyed the rumble of the Vance & Hines Big Radius 2-into-2 exhaust.
When he finally glanced up at me, our eyes met through clear sedan glass and red lensed ride glasses. I nodded acknowledgment of his examination. He nodded back, then I let the chrome pipes talk some smack as I pulled away from the light.
I can't help but think he wished he was, like so many of us "Enthusiasts" - CAGE FREE!
