Saw some nice Models too! They are getting fewer each year though! The Blond at the top holding the Helmet is Michelle, The Lovely Lady on The Ducati Display is Amanda!

Here's a link to my Webshots Photo Album of the event! Enjoy!

We Went Saturday to beat the rush, and it appeared we did that until about noon. I Ran into Clem, one of the Photographers from the RidinOn Magazine I shoot pictures for. We Coordinated to be sure we didn't duplicate Photo's. Meaning I posed the girls different places than He did! Yea, I know we both got lots of great Pictures of the Wide Variety of Bikes too! Enjoy them!

My Current Ride! 2004 FLHTCI

After I sold the XLH, I searched all over N. Ohio and finally bought a 2004 E.G. Classic off Roeder's Harley-Davidson in Monroeville, Ohio. My Home Dealership!

Friend Bruce K. showed me a Road King, and I could have bought it if it hadn't been such an ugly color, but thank God he talked me into the '04 he had taken in trade the prev. fall.

It was even my favorite color! BLACK!

Told Bruce I wanted a Road King so I could take the windshield off and enjoy the wind. He showed me the Shortie windscreens. I said I wasn't sure about the Tour Pak, He did the Detachable Hardware for me.

BUT! What really sold me, the day I took it for a test ride I took along one of my favorite CD's and Jammed to Bernard Allison! WOW! Life is GOOD!

Here's my baby sitting next to a 1954 Panhead! Check out the 50 year anniv. Plaque on the Panhead! That's the same one I had on my '54 HD!

I have put over 30.000 miles on it so far. And that is working 12 to 16, some 20 hour days, mostly 7 days a week all last year!

Here's My Baby on the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Back to HARLEY-DAVIDSON!

My 4th bike and 2nd Harley-Davidson was after quite a break! Divorce and Child Support will do that to you!

I completely owe getting the next Harley to my Younger Bigger Brother Mike, he bought a '99 Ultra after riding a '79 Shovel for years, and whenever I saw him on his I just burned for one. BUT first things first and After getting all my Kids grown up and paid for, and purchasing a NEW 2004 Ford F-150 after driving a '78 F-150 for 242,00 miles and 11+ years. It was time to decide.

I took a couple of years and rented about every style H.D. to test what I could live with. Dyan, Softail, Electra-Glide won hands down!

However, it was NOT in the budget YET!

Instead, a guy I worked with was gettin' married. He was my supervisor, and he had a very sweet 1990 XLH 883 that had been upped to a 1200+(I called it a 1200 Magnum!) Had about 15 more HP than a stock 1200 of the same year.

Anyway, his bride said get rid of the ride, I did the pictures for the wedding, Gave them a rate and he woefully parted with the XLH for a good price!

Here it is before I put some chrome and a solo seat on it.

And here it is after some work!

rode it for a year, sold it on ebay for a profit and purchased the next and current ride!

My Third Bike, and LAST NON-Harley-Davidson bike!

Sold the Kawasaki after I got it fixed and focused on fast cars. But after I'd been married a few years and the price of gas skyrocketed to over 50Cents a gallon! I decided an Economical "Work" ride was in order. The wife approved, and I purchase a 1986 Suzuki 700cc Intruder. Stayed with the small motor to beat the insurance premiums of the larger bike motors.

I rode the heck out of this thing and got into a little trouble with it too. Mostly giving rides to a girl I should have stayed away from! Nuff about that!

This thing fit the need, but was way too small for long rides which I did anyway and paid dearly for, and NOT comfortable for the lady at all!

It was water cooled, and the coolant turned to black sludge in less that a regular riding season, had to flush coolant twice a year!

Here's a good shot of this ride

It treated me good, got me lucky a few dozen, ok hundred times, and sold it with 2 helmets and cover for what I paid for the bike new.

The 2nd Bike!

My next bike was about a year later, I went in a totally different direction! 1972 Kawasaki H1C 500cc freaking Race bike! Literally, the guy I bought it off of Drag Raced it, had racing stuff in the motor which I never inquired about. Just remember I had to take the 3 Velocity Stacks off and put the Air cleaner back on because I lived on a very dusty country road.

The first day I rode it, I looked down and the front tire had stopped spinning, and I was in 2nd gear accelerating relatively easy. I realized that I only had one tire on the road! Man, I am so lucky I survived THAT bike!

Here's the Kaw, yes I rode it year round too!

I actually had this to 145 mph once, on a winding country road with a passenger on with me!

Yea, I wrecked it at 85 mph July 4th 1975. OSP said I was airborne for 30+ feet, and slid down the road another 220 feet before it ground to a halt! Brother Mike was on behind me. I rode it out, he held onto the back grip and DRUG down the tacky tar road the full 220 feet! The hot sticky tar is the only thing that saved us both!

My very First Harley-Davidson, at 15 years Old!

I bought my First Bike and Harley-Davidson out of a farmers chicken coop in 1970. It was a '54 Harley-Davidson "B" model. 165cc with 1961 tags still on it. It had the winter windshield, top half plastic, bottom canvas that snapped below the headlight. It was known as a "Winter" windshield.

And get this! On the front fender it had the Gold "50 year Anniversary" Plaque! I KNOW! I still cry when I realize what I had and let go!

My dad went with me, I paid $65 for it, and dad told me years later the only reason he let me buy it was he never thought I'd get it on the road! Had it running in 2 weeks, and only took that long because the gas tank was full of RUST and had to get it dipped and repainted!

Anyway, lived on about 800 acres of farmland and rode it year round mostly OFF road, but snuck on road occasionally for a beer run or girlfriend visit.

Here is the ONLY picture I ever took of this fine machine!

My hero of the day was Evel Knievel! He was making the news regularly, and yes, I set up small ramps and jumped the bike. I stripped off the front fender, headlight and Windshield to lighten it up. Did some wheelies which entailed mostly pulling up real hard on the handle bars as I dumped the clutch!

I did dirt track racing in the 5 acre bottom field that always flooded and therefore never got planted. Did Hill climbs from the same bottom field to the top field and back down. Have video 8mm film of that from a camera that I duct taped to my helmet as I rode.

I rode this everywere all over the area until....That's right, I got my first car at 18. Then it was only used as recreation while on the farm with nothing else to do.

One day a farmer from the area drove in, asked if I still had it and made an offer that a 18 year old dumb ass kid did NOT have the good sense to pass up on! Man I miss that first Harley!

Here's a picture of the 50th Anniv. Plaque I shot on a '54 Panhead!

David and his Rides!

Rode lots last year! Promised myself I will Ride MORE this year! That's gonna be a real challenge!
