Will post the upgrades after it's finished!
And of course there's this one!
This is my Personal Motorcycle and Ride History! I will try to keep it BRIEF and NOT boring! How can riding stories EVER be Boring?
And of course there's this one!
Just upgraded to a "Lock-Up" clutch with new clutch plates and CF (Centrifulal Force) Pressure plate by AIM.Mfg.
That baby really ROCKS!
Roeder Racing has the CF Unit to fit YOUR ride!
I also have pictures from Ohio Bike Week, the Lima Flat Track Races, some in the section on the EasyRider M.C. show in Columbus, and a lovely shot you can see below in the "Brandi" secion of this blog, of her and Skylee!
Here is the shot used for the cover, other shots are below!

I was riding N on SR 99 and hit a low spot full of fog, for a brief second Baby and I were enshrouded in fog from the shoulders down, with only the stars above to guide us! Believe I felt for a fraction of a second and to a very minor degree what Pilots that slip the surly bonds of earth on wings of fighter jets must feel as they climb through weather into the starlit sky!
So inspired by that, and early enough that I pulled off to enjoy the starlit sky, again to Free Bird and Baby's Rythmic Idle. Ursa Minor and Polaris in it's Pouring into Ursa Major position, the summer Triangle directly above(Deneb in Cygnus, Altair in Aquila, and Vega in Lyra). Alcor and Mizar double stars in Ursa Major's handle. The Milky way, Jupiter and Andromeda rising and Virgo setting.
I apologize NOT to those along my 1 am flight path for the cry of my V-Twin and it's deep vibrato that trails behind, trying to catch up to Baby and I. For you see, I am a happily and permanently single man, and this is the only time I get to hear the voice of a screamin' woman! Albeit with the tones of a woman from a far Eastern Balkan village..;<{
Here is a teaser Peek at a small part of this bike:
I had the pleasure of spending the day with Ron and his lovely wife Ruth, and shot about 800 Pictures. Rode with him to scout locations and ultimately decided his place was better than any we scouted. Can't show the bike here YET, but here are a couple of shots from the best day of my summer so far!
This is Ron's daily Rider!
"Wing and A Prayer"
This is Wing & A Prayer and MY Baby after a nice afternoon ride with Ron.
This is in front of The Detroit Piston's Arena.
This is the Studio from the Kitchen
This is Ron's wife Ruth feeding Echo.
She's coyote and dog mix.
This is Ruth, Ron and their daughter Gail with the bike "Finicky" and the truck that's gonna haul Ron's new bike to Sturgis.
Ron told me he's allowed to ride without a HELMET in Michigan for Photo Shoots, if there's a photographer with him!
And her lovely daughter, Skylee!
The Black heels in Juxtaposition with the
Roeder 200 Club Timing Cover make a nice visual.
I told her she could have all the other pictures for FREE!
But this these two were gonna cost her BIG!
All the color removed except the awesome shirt
It's official! Announced today through Facebook! May 26th is the official opening day for Mad River Harley-Davidson!
The new mexican restaurant in the old Shifters building is now open and serving great Authentic Mexican food! Yes I have sampled it, and it is good! Here is the Crew that was on duty the day I was in to shoot pic's for the RidinOn Magazine.
Be sure to tell Leo and Joe that I sent you! And try the Nachos Fajitas! Oh, and the Guacamole!
Harley-Davidson FXRG coat, Under Armour layers and the new Heated Seat make this ride possible without the shiver quakes that would surely otherwise ruin it. The Ride is absolutely spiritual with every sense brought to the very edge of Exhiliration!
I LOVE riding in this weather!
Screw It, Lets Ride!
I have been riding this for several weeks now, and am VERY happy with the results. The investment was well worth what I have now. The HP is 105.5, The Torque is 101.6. It's LOUDER, did not expect that. And if I stay out of the throttle and do the casual SPEED LIMIT riding, I get about 40 mpg! Just barely have to give it throttle for normal casual riding.
BUT, when I roll the throttle on hard, it's GAME ON! Pegged the Speedo, it only goes to 120, and I've had the front up a couple times, carefully and tentatively!
Thanks George, Super, Bob and anyone else at Roeder Racing that had a hand in this!
OH! Thanks Jess Roeder for goading me into it!
Keep the rubber side down and ride it like you Stole it! The Roeder Racing heads and "200 Club" Timing Cover!
Have to have over 100 HP and over 100 Torque to get one of these.
Instantly ran into Mike Ballard, owner of Full Throttle Saloon of Sturgis S.D., he and Angie Land are coming to Sandusky, Ohio for Ohio Bike Week!
A picture is worth a thousand words, so here are a couple of thousand, words.
Mike Ballard of the
Full Throttle Saloon and Angie of Angieland!
My next bike was a Harley!
And remarkably enough, it was the same color!
I needed a pick me up for a very bad day, and decided a Great Steak would do just that! I drove past Several local chain restaurants and remembered something I had been told about this place on Cleveland Road on the way out of town!
I pulled into Red Gables Mesquite Grill and thought the place was closed, but noticed the "Open" light was on, so I walked in the door to check.
I was greeted by Jamie Pribanic, Owner and Chef. I told him I wanted to look at the menu and would be back another time, an excuse I confess to check out the prices. After perusing the menu and talking to Jamie about most of the items, I was very impressed with his knowledge of both beef and Salmon,(my personal favorite) and his commitment to offering the BEST steak and seafood in the area! So much so that he is backing it up with a guarantee!
Jamie's daughter Athena (YES, appropriately named after the Goddess!) waited on me, I ordered the New York Strip Steak done Med Rare, baked potato and salad w/Celery Seed dressing made my Jamie himself.
The bread that was brought out was warm and tasty enough to be a meal in itself! The salad was a work of art and with olives, cherry tomatoes, sweet pepper slices, onion, croutons so fresh they did not shatter and you could actually stick a fork through them, and a perfect mix of greens. It kept me busy and happy while I waited on the steak!
The steak came out rubbed with a special pepper rub, again made by Jamie, and cooked to perfection! This is where I lack for words. After eating at Taco Bell or McDonalds you can't wait to have a mint, or brush your teeth! However, the after taste of this most excellent steak graciously lingers, and I find myself reluctant to do anything that might remove it!
I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie's son also, Joshua B. Pribanic, Executive Director of "The Erie Wire" an Online newspaper. Josh took a good close look at my Nikon D300 as we discussed camera's and photography, adding to my enjoyment of this dining experience!
Ok, you can waste your time and gas driving to Cleveland, or waste your dollars and High Volume Chain Steakhouses, but for only Two to Four dollars more than those places, you get a PERFECT Steak, Perfectly prepared, and all while enjoying the company of Jamie, Athena, and maybe you'll get lucky and meet son Josh too!
I ate like a KING, made new friends, and can't wait to go back to try the Salmon! See ya there?
